Simon Bruce – Principal & Founder
Simon is creative and charismatic. His experience is extensive having attained qualifications in the areas of executive coaching, organisational development and facilitation. He possesses a natural ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds and can quickly build rapport. Simon’s unique combination of work and life experience, coupled with his breadth and depth of knowledge, means he can engage people and help them to set congruent and inspirational goals. He takes pride in creating an environment that is caring, stimulating and thought provoking. Simon prefers to use experiential learning methods at every opportunity as he believes people learn best by doing. His calm, yet focused approach enables him to identify and highlight underlying issues in a nurturing way.
Prior to establishing Bruce Balance, Simon worked and consulted in senior leadership roles, within the corporate sector for over 20 years. During that time he also facilitated programs on leadership development, emotional intelligence, organisational change and personal & cultural transformation.
Simon also has a keen interest in building high performing teams and finds it inspirational and satisfying to coach and mentor leaders through organisational change and personal transition. His versatility, adaptability and flexibility is clearly demonstrated having successfully consulted for individuals, not-for-profits, small and medium enterprise, large corporations and multi-national organisations.
